Burlington Advanced Computing Innovations Inc. ("BACI", "we", "our", or "us") operates the website baciinc.com and provides the Case Relay software product. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect information in connection with our website and products.

BACI is incorporated in Ontario, Canada and is subject to the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) and the Canadian Anti-Spam Legislation (CASL). We also respect the requirements of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) for visitors from the European Economic Area.

We take privacy seriously. Our website uses no advertising cookies, no cross-site tracking, and no third-party advertising networks. We collect the minimum information necessary to operate our business.

Information you provide directly

When you contact us or join our waitlist through our Contact page, we receive your name, email address, company name, and the contents of your message. We use this information to respond to your enquiry and, where applicable, to notify you when a product you registered for becomes available.

Information collected automatically

When you visit baciinc.com, we collect standard web analytics data including pages visited, time on page, referring website, browser type, device type, and approximate geographic location (country and region level only). This data is collected via Cloudflare Web Analytics, which does not use cookies and does not track individuals across websites.

We also use Microsoft Clarity, a behavioural analytics tool, which records anonymised session data including mouse movements, clicks, and scroll patterns. This data is used solely to improve the website experience and is not used for advertising purposes. Clarity may use cookies to maintain session state — see the Cookies section below.

Product usage information

Case Relay is installed and operates entirely within your Salesforce org. BACI does not have access to your Salesforce data, your Case records, or any information processed by Case Relay within your org. All product data remains within your Salesforce environment.

How we use information

We use the information we collect to:

These services process website traffic data as described in their respective privacy policies. We do not use any third-party advertising or tracking services on baciinc.com.

We may disclose information if required to do so by law or in response to a valid legal request from a government authority.

Data retention

We retain contact enquiry and waitlist information for as long as necessary to fulfil the purpose for which it was collected — including notifying waitlist registrants at product launch — and for a reasonable period thereafter. Website analytics data is retained as per Cloudflare's and Microsoft Clarity's standard retention periods.

You may request deletion of any personal information we hold about you at any time by contacting us through our Contact page.

Clarity uses cookies including _clck, _clsk, and CLID to maintain session state for recording purposes. These cookies are used solely for anonymised behavioural analytics and are not used for advertising. You may opt out by enabling the "Do Not Track" setting in your browser.

Cloudflare Turnstile

Our contact and waitlist forms use Cloudflare Turnstile for bot protection. Turnstile may set a temporary cf_clearance cookie during the security challenge. This cookie is strictly necessary for form security and expires at the end of your session.

Website hosting, content delivery network, DDoS protection, bot protection (Turnstile), and web analytics. Cloudflare Web Analytics is cookieless and does not track individuals across websites.

Microsoft Clarity

Behavioural analytics including session recording and heatmaps. Clarity may collect data including mouse movements, clicks, and scroll behaviour. This data is used solely to improve the website experience and is not used for advertising. Clarity's privacy policy is available at microsoft.com/en-us/clarity/privacy.

Inter (typeface)

The Inter typeface is used on this website. It is self-hosted via Next.js font optimisation — no request is made to Google's servers at runtime.

Children

baciinc.com and BACI products are intended for business use only. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under the age of 16. If you believe we have inadvertently collected such information, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the effective date at the top of this page. We encourage you to review this policy periodically. Continued use of baciinc.com after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
